Social Events & Fundraisers

We hold several free social events, fundraisers, trips and excursions every year. These include, a Christmas Party, a Summer Picnic - which attract over 100 people - and fundraising concerts by such eminent groups as the London Gay Men's Chorus.

Participatory Workshops

Workshops give people an opportunity to explore non-medical issues that are important to them in a new and creative way. Facilitated by people living with HIV. Max 25 participants in each workshop

The Beyond Diagnosis Course – 19 & 26 September and 3 October 2026

The Bloomsbury Network Beyond Diagnosis Course is a free, peer-led HIV support course for anyone living with HIV, whether you were diagnosed recently or have been living with HIV for many years.

Screening:How to Survive a Plague

To mark this year’s World AIDS Day, the Bloomsbury clinic will screen How To Survive A Plague. An award-winning film that documents the struggles of a group of AIDS activists and founders of ACT UP and TAG, who used civil disobedience and other forms of political activism to force the United States government and the medical establishment to develop effective HIV treatment.

WRITING FROM THE HEART

Want to find a creative outlet for your ideas, emotions and imaginations? In a welcoming environment for people living with HIV? After a successful taster session, Bloomsbury Network is running our creative workshop 'Writing From the Heart,' every two weeks til mid-July. The group is led by playwright and teacher Brian Mullin, who is living with HIV and a longtime member of the BN Steering Committee.

Beyond Diagnosis Course

The Beyond Diagnosis Course is for anyone living with HIV, no matter how long ago their diagnosis. Perhaps you are recently diagnosed or maybe you have been living with HIV for thirty years or more. Regardless, if you feel that your diagnosis is holding you back in any way, this is the course for you.
