Strength And Laughter During Tough Times

Strength And Laughter During Tough Times

David Tovey shares a glimpse into his life with his recent interview in The Independent with Patrick Strudwick; recently his life has been turned upside down with a string of health problems and at the same time he has been more than challenged with the pressure of dealing with the economic strain whilst being ill. David has been hit with neurosyphilis, a stroke, cancer, cardiac arrest, HIV and as a result has battled side effects of depression, all whilst his life was changing.

Here at Bloomsbury we think David is one of the strongest people we know and has always been a pleasure to work with. We can only hope that by sharing his story that it reaches the right people and helps change policy for others and we champion the need for improved support networks.
