Stigma & Discrimination

  • Are attitudes getting better or worse?
  • Is the media helping to change attitudes or stifling change?
  • Has the Law made a difference?
  • Are you still worried about the threat of prosecution?
  • Up to 25% of patients get re-infected within 2 years. So far, we have only one patient (0.5%) with a confirmed re-infection – thanks to this programme
  • The new medication costs £30,000 for a course of treatment. Therefore NHS England will only pay for one course of treatment … so learn how to protect youself!

Matt Cain, editor of ATTITUDE magazine– journalist and a Mortimer Market PrEP patient

Charlie Ardwick – senior press officer at the National AIDS Trust – who have championed PLWH for many years including changes in the law

Kat Smithson – Policy Advisor and campaigner at the National AIDS Trust & expert in social attitudes
